I’ve hired Sukram to be my guide 3 times since 2014 (Annapurna BC, Mardi Himal & Manaslu) simply because he is the best! The reason I had such an incredible experience, each and every time, is ultimately down to Sukram. I feel very lucky that I know him.
So many other trekkers I’ve met with Suk along the way have remarked to me afterwards what a great guide I had with me. Better than theirs. It’s because he is immediately warm, caring and funny with everyone he meets. As well as having excellent spoken English.
Suk is experienced and responsible enough to keep you safe, whilst being young enough to be passionate about what he does. He enjoys the experience with you. So honestly, do yourself a favour, stop looking and hire this guy before someone else gets there first.

I first encountered Sukram Lama under a trek in Nepal under the company of intrepid. Suk guided us up the Annapurna trek for two weeks. He was an absolute delight. He knows the mountains and the villages very well and was a fun caring and reliable guide. I would recommend Suk to anyone wanting to take treks through Nepal. Thank you Suk! 🙂

A fun guide with really, really good English. Proud of his culture and country and shares it with you. Wants to know how we live back home. Heaps to talk and joke about with him. Works hard to be the best and wants to make it easy for you.”

Sukram is a friendly, funny and helpful guide. He was one of the many highlights of my experience trekking in the Himalayas in 2014 and has remained a friend since. A top guy! I highly recommend! (smiley emoticon)

I was lucky to have Sukram Lama as a guide on my trek along the Annapurna circuit in 2015. The trek itself was amazing and was made even better by the serious and smiling Suk!
Suk made every effort to make the trip enjoyable and had a great attitude even with a few difficult trekkers who were with us.
Whilst he is young, his experience is already significant with a great knowledge of the mountains and local traditions. A trip with Suk will be something you will definitely enjoy as much as I did. Suk is a great combination of cheeky and professional. I wish him great success continuing his career as a guide through the most majestically fantastic place I’ve ever had the pleasure of walking.

Sukram Lama is an excellent Himalayan guide. He speaks fluent English and is extremely knowledgeable about Nepali nature and culture. He provides an inspiring, authentic mountain experience that is full of adventure, yet he’s wonderfully relaxing and calm. Sukram’s nature reflects his country’s humble, kind friendly culture. I felt welcomed, safe and educated on my trek with Sukram.

Annapurna Circuit 2013: Sukram Lama was our brilliant guide. Suk made this trek fun no matter how tough the conditions got. He has a clear passion and love of his country and his knowledge and teachings along the way always kept things interesting. Nothing was too much to ask and I thank him for making a memorable trek even more special. I highly recommend him as a personal guide.

Suk is a really good conscientious mountain guide. He is caring, fun and knowledgeable and makes sure his clients are safe and we are enjoying ourselves. When my sister and I were trekking in the Annapurna Sanctuary my sister fell ill. Suk stayed behind over night with us to make sure we were safe. The next day when we had to attempt to catch the rest of the group up Suk carried my sisters bag and was very patient with my sister who needed to have a break every five steps or so. We caught the rest of the group up and enjoyed the rest of the trek all the way up to base camp.
